Opis

The Concept of Matter and Emptiness

In Buddhist ontology, the atom represents pure kinetic energy. It arises and dissolves within emptiness in every passing moment. Therefore, the subtle paramāṇu unit cannot exist in complete isolation. It depends on the dynamic interplay of earth, water, fire, and wind.

This Atom poetry poster translates that ancient philosophy into a striking visual broadside. Furthermore, it connects modern atomic discoveries with historical memory and human curiosity. While physical reactions split matter apart, visual poetry restores balance and harmony.

Classical Vertical Typography

We typeset the Japanese poem in traditional vertical Mincho script (縦書き). Consequently, the text carries the refined weight of classic twentieth-century Japanese literature:

原子

私のあらゆる現実は、哀しみの色彩を放ちて爆ぜる
私のあらゆる瞳は、孤独の音を響かせて砕け散る
私のあらゆる言葉は、憂いの輪郭を帯びて噴き上がる
私のあらゆる生は、稲妻の華と咲き乱れる

ひとつの細胞の裡に閉ざされた、好奇心という本質
人間の宿命が秘めし、原子の力

English Original:

All my realities will explode with colours of sorrow

All my eyes will blow up with sounds of solitude

All my words will erupt with shapes of sadness

All my lives will blossom with flowers of lightning

The nature of curiosity closed in just a cell

The atomic power of human fate

Archival Substrate and Editions

Each Atom poetry poster is printed on museum-grade Hahnemühle® William Turner 190 g/m² paper. Because we use 100% cotton rag, the fine matte texture preserves every subtle line. You can select from three distinctive editions:

  • Alabaster: A warm cream edition that reflects quiet natural light.
  • Obsidian Diptych: A deep black print with left-core alignment for paired wall displays.
  • Obsidian Monolith: A centered vertical edition designed for standalone presentation.
  • Complete Diptych Set: Both matching editions curated for a two-piece gallery installation.
